today, i’m excited to share a product development project i worked on for terrain- this beautiful, washed-linen table program. we searched high and low for the perfect fabric quality and weight- this drapes impeccably, but is sturdy enough to stand up to everyday use. i just love the color range, and the deep saturation is incredible. washed linen is still very much of the european sensibility, and is surprisingly difficult to find in the american marketplace- of course, our textile-obsessed team thought it shouldn’t have to be. with washed linen, there is a softness, texture, and casualness of lifestyle, and the effect gets better with each wash. for my own everyday table, i’d probably go with the timeless charcoal gray, some creamy white dinnerware, and a long, low tray filled with colorful succulents. and a bundle of colorful napkins make the perfect fall hostess gift.
